Hi there! Thanks for checking out my site. I started this blog to document my baking journey. I want to know all there is to know about the pastry arts, and since I cannot go to culinary school right now I thought I would get a head start in my own kitchen. I am choosing the recipes for this blog purposefully, almost like creating my own pastry curriculum. If you are as passionate as I am for dessert and would love to learn more then grab an apron and bake with me!
When I am not in my kitchen rolling out pastry I am taking care of my two lovely boys, Cameron and Wesley. Cameron came to us through a beautiful adoption, and Wesley was a very happy surprise. When I am not mothering them I am running as fast as I can so as to take off post baby weight and a few slices of cake. And when I am not running I am sleeping because I love that too.
I cannot forget to mention my wonderful husband, Aron, who encourages me to pursue my passion even though he is severely allergic to all that is wonderful (eggs and dairy). Because of him I promise to bake vegan desserts as well.
